A new leak has revealed that the Galaxy Book4 and Galaxy Book4 360 will be some of the first laptops to sport Intel Raptor Lake-U Refresh processors. Reportedly, both machines will utilise the Intel Core 5 120U, as well as 8 GB of RAM and two SSD slots. The pair will differ in various areas though, including an AMOLED display for the Galaxy Book4 360.

Samsung's Galaxy Book4 refresh is one the horizon, with the Galaxy Book4 Ultra expected to top the series courtesy of an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. At the other end of the scale will sit the Galaxy Book4 and Galaxy Book4 360, a pair of 15.6-inch laptops that Windows Report claims will rely on Intel's Raptor Lake-U Refresh architecture. For context, there will also be the Galaxy Book4 Pro and Galaxy Book4 Pro 360, specifications of which we have covered separately.

Reportedly, the Galaxy Book4 and Galaxy Book4 360 will rely upon the Core 5 120U, which Windows Report states has 12 MB of Smart Cache and can boost to 5 GHz. Assuming that Raptor Lake-U Refresh follows the same core counts as their Raptor Lake-U counterparts, it would appear that the Core 5 120U will offer 10 CPU cores split between 2 P cores and 8 E cores, possibly as an overclocked Core i5-1335U/Core i5-1345U or a re-badged Core i7-1355U.

At any rate, both machines are said to feature 8 GB of RAM, with LPDDR4x headed to the Galaxy Book4 and LPDDR5 for the Galaxy Book4 360. The pair will differ in other areas too, including battery capacity, display panel type and I/O. Currently, Samsung is expected to announce the Raptor Lake-U Refresh pair after Intel fully unveils its Meteor Lake architecture, possibly during CES 2024 in January. The differences between the Galaxy Book4 and Galaxy Book4 360 are as follows:
