MediaTek has taken wraps of its much-vaunted Dimensity 9300 SoC today. The Dimensity 9300 distinguishes itself from the competition by opting for an all-performance core design that includes four Cortex-X4 cores. MediaTek claims massive performance and power efficiency gains along with the significantly powerful Immortalis-G720 12-core GPU and APU 790 that enables on-device generative AI.

The Snapdragon X Elite's CPU and GPU reference benchmarks are now available showing impressive gains over current flagship processors from Intel, AMD, and Apple. OEMs can configure the Snapdragon X Elite up to an 80 W TDP, which allows the SoC to offer near-desktop-class performance, particularly in single-core, along with significant multi-core gains.

As part of its Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii, Qualcomm has showcased, amongst other things, its forthcoming top-tier SoC for 2024: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Once again, the CPU cores are getting reorganized, ensuring more performance and we also have the first benchmark results which we would like to share with you.
